At the start of the summer skindividual set the challenge - come up with the ultimate gig of the summer and work with our mentors, some of the best brains in the music industry to help make the winning vision a reality. The twist was placing a message at the heart of the party about not getting caught out by sunburn.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to all our finalists who put so much effort into promoting their gigs.
In addition to competing for the chance to create and curate their dream gig, our finalists all communicated an important message about being skindividual. Summer doesn’t just bring festivals, fun and fair weather, it also brings a higher risk of getting caught out by sunburn. Sunburn is a sign that the skin has been damaged, and this can lead to an increased risk of skin cancer.
